Both pubs will host 6 breweries each from the four corners of Ireland, who will showcase some of their latest range and also introduce some special brews just for the 2015 Wexford Food and Wine Festival. Festival goers will get a chance to meet with the brewers and learn more about the art of producing craft beer.

The South Main Ale Trail will also see the launch of Simon Lambert and Sons own range of craft beers ‘Yellow Belly Beers’ from their own brewery located underneath their establishment.

“We plan on running a unique brew pub,” explains Nicky Lambert of Simon Lambert and Sons Pub and Brewery. “We’ll have lots of new specials and different styles of beer coming from our brewery and The South Main Ale Trail gives us the perfect opportunity to launch our brand new Yellow Bellow Craft Beer range during the Wexford Food and Wine Festival. “ “Craft Beer has become one of our top sellers here at The Sky and The Ground”, adds Johnny Barron, proprietor of The Sky and The Ground. “The South Main Ale Trail will not only put these two pubs on the map as the definitive locations for craft beer in Wexford, but will also solidify Co. Wexford as a vibrant addition to the Irish craft beer industry.”

For just €10, customers will receive a commemorative South Main Ale Trail half-pint glass and a sample of three craft beers. Craft Beer Off-Sales will also be on offer from Carryout Wexford during the 2015 Wexford Food and Wine Festival.
